ال وزير الخارجية السعودي عادل الجبير إن إطلاق إيران النار على سفينة في عرض الخليج يعد انتهاكا صريحا للقانون الدولي، مؤكدا على ضرورة وقف هذا السلوك.
ويأتي هذا بعد أن أطلقت زوارق إيرانية أعيرة نارية تجاه سفينة شحن ترفع علم سنغافورة في مياه الخليج، ما اضطر السفينة للفرار إلى ميناء جبل علي الإماراتي في مدينة دبي، حيث تصدى خفر السواحل الإماراتي للزوارق الإيرانية.
وأكد بيان إماراتي رسمي أن حرس السواحل ساعد سفينة ترفع علم سنغافورة بعد تعرضها لإطلاق نار من البحرية الإيرانية.
